Shelby's 11 Months

It's hard to believe this little girl is 11 months old.  There isn't a wellness check until next month, but we found out when we went to Instacare that Shelby weighs 16 pounds (I don't remember the ounces).

 

By the time she turned 11 months:

•  Started saying "dada" again. When she got sick with Bronchiolitis she stopped saying it.

• Started saying "momma"

• Started jabbering a whole lot more

• Loves to stand

• Walks like a Nazi soldier when you hold her hands and walk with her. She's not coordinated enough to alternate feet yet, so she just kicks up her left leg and sets it down over and over!

• Has started trying to pull herself up to a standing position, but hasn't been successful yet. 

• Can go from laying down to sitting up by herself. 

• Loves food. She will eat anything you put in front of her. 

• Caught her with dog food in her mouth 

• Wears 3-6 month/6 month clothes

• Wears size 2 diapers

• Still takes a nap during church

• Has stopped crying in response to strangers talking to her. Now she looks at me as if she's asking if its okay that a stranger is talking to her. And then she sometimes starts crying!

First bubble bath. She wasn't a fan....

TEETH! She got another tooth this month. There's 7 of them in there. 4 on top and 3 on bottom. Also, she loves Chinese food... and all food really. I really haven't found something she won't eat.

Started crawling

And now she's into everything!

First trip to Instacare. Dislocated her elbow (called Nursemaid's Elbow).

Went back to Instacare the next day because it was still dislocated. After that she was back to normal.

First time in a swing. She was tense the whole time. She never cried, but it was clear she didn't like it.

Took a ride in the stroller to the park. You would have thought she was on a ride at Disneyland with how excited she was to ride in the stroller! She loved it!

Apparently she has a picture pose. These were taken 24 hours apart.

Called her name and she whipped around with the biggest smile on her face.
