Shasta's 5 Months

Every month I say I can't believe she's already that many months old, but 5 months feels like a big one to me. I can't believe there's been a baby in my life for 5 months. It's so crazy! She's hit a lot of milestones this last month. Here's the list of her latest happenings.

By 5 months:

* Went to her first, second, and third volleyball game

* Went to her first football game (and they won! GO AGGIES!)

* Had her first outing two days in a row. First at 2nd Dam in Logan and second at Mueller Park in Bountiful

* Kind of laughs. She’ll smile big and sometimes let out sound with it

* Can now wear headbands

* Started wearing 0-3 month clothes

* Switched to size 1 diapers

* Her eyes follow you as you move

* Discovered her fingers big time. They’re always in her mouth. And she shoves them so far in she chokes on them!

* Watches Wedge while she lies on the floor

* Picks up toys

* Grew Snuffaluffagus eyelashes

* Started cooing (which is my most favorite thing ever)!

* Spins in circles while laying on the floor

* Lifts her toosh off the ground when I change her diaper and tries to scoot back

* Rolled from back to tummy once, but always flips to her side when she’s on the floor

* Got a bald spot

* Went to her first parade (USU Homecoming)

* Sucks on her shirt

* Naps 1-2 hours in the morning, 2-3 hours in the afternoon, and a 20 minute cat nap in the evening

* Goes to bed at 10pm, sleeps roughly 6 hours straight, then wants to eat every 3 hours after that until about 9:30am when she’s up for the day.

* Refuses to take a bottle

* Had first studio pictures taken

* Thinks it’s so funny when you smell her feet and say they’re so stinky!
